Fall at Winterthur

Some say autumn is the winding down of a year, and others view it as a new beginning. Perhaps, it is both.

As cooler days settle in, and light softens, the house, galleries, and library become places to linger and explore. Challenging Masterpieces: Art and Identity in American Furniture opens September 26 joining At Home at Winterthur in the Galleries. From intimate experiences and talks to hands-on workshops, lectures, and tours to the annual Delaware Antiques Show, there are so many ways to gather and be inspired. Music and ballet fans will find the performing arts alive here in September and October, which are also busy with abundant opportunities to enjoy the colorful display and crisp air outdoors. Truck & Tractor Day and Tram & Treat, plus a Harvest Hoedown, Tailgate Tours, and walks and talks in the garden fill the fall calendar.

We invite you to visit us during this season of gathering, change, and reflection.
