Revel in an evening inspired by all things Ann Lowe! Take a tour of our latest exhibition, Ann Lowe: American Couturier, with Elizabeth Way, exhibition guest curator and associate curator at the Museum of the Fashion Institute of Technology (5:30–6:30 pm). After, join us at the Reflecting Pool for live music, a festive cocktail, and light fare, plus a pop-up jewelry shopping experience with Tony Perrin of Lock & Key Design. Watch a live demonstration of hand embroidery by artist Emily Bach as she creates a piece inspired by one of Ann Lowe’s dresses. Many dresses created by Ann Lowe feature flowers, which were a signature of her style. During the event, models will wear dramatic floral headdresses created by Heidi Militana, floral design supervisor, Maria Navarrete-Olvera of Zena Florist, and Hannah Poon, custom clothing designer. Copies of the book Ann Lowe: American Couturier will be available for purchase and for signing by Elizabeth Way. $65; $60 per Member. Includes one cocktail and one small bite station, private access to Ann Lowe exhibition, a chat with Elizabeth Way, jewelry pop-up, live music, and general admission.
