As First Lady, she had a portable stage built in the East Room of the White House for musical and dramatic performers from the worlds of poetry, opera, ballet, and literature. 

The Wilmington Ballet, June 26

Join us for a performance by the Wilmington Ballet of a new work set to the music of cellist Pablo Casals, who was one of the many artists invited to perform at the White House during the Kennedy presidency. $15; $10 Members. Additional $10 fee for general admission, including house tours, garden, and exhibitions.  

Join us for additional East Room Revisited performances on August 12, 13, and 14.
