10:15–10:45 am: Who Are You Not To? How to Make the Thing You Love Create the Life You Want
Get inspired by Sarah Bourne Rafferty, who transformed her artistic vision into Atwater Designs, a thriving business inspired by her background in studio art and a master of fine arts in printmaking and book arts. After teaching photography at the Agnes Irwin School, she launched her brand and has exhibited her work nationally and internationally, collaborating with Ralph Lauren, Terrain, Longwood Gardens, and Papyrus. Her designs have been featured in Town & Country and Magnolia magazines. Her talk is inspired by the poem “Our Deepest Fear” by Marianne Williamson.

Roxanne Stanulis, artist and services program officer with the Delaware Division of the Arts, will discuss grant options for Delaware artists, including eligibility requirements, disciplines in which grants are awarded, and the online application process.
1:00–3:00 pm: Emmanuel Aboagye, 2025 Winterthur Maker-Creator Fellow
Join Emmanuel Aboagye, Wilmington artist of Ghanaian descent and Winterthur Maker-Creator fellow, for a hands-on art session where you’ll do the image transfer process he uses in his own work. While the transfers dry, you’ll keep the creativity flowing with painting, collage, and drawing on canvas, exploring the same playful, layered process behind his art. Come ready to experiment, get your hands dirty, and make something unexpected. Drop in anytime.
