H. F. du Pont: The Collector Day

Explore the collection to unearth stories revealing the intrigue and interplay among collectors, dealers, and the antiques market in the first half of the 20th century. As a special treat, Winterthur Curator Emeritus Charles Hummel and Professor Emeritus Brock Jobe will informally share some of their favorite stories of museum pieces and their interesting acquisition history.
One hour collecting tour of floors 3, 4, and 5 available 10:00 am and 1:30 pm

Costuming THE CROWN Preview Lecture

Join Jeff Groff, director of interpretation and estate historian and Kim Collison, manager of exhibitions and collection planning, for an exclusive first glimpse into the exhibition Costuming THE CROWN, opening March 30. Members will be privy to images and stories behind some of the key costumes chosen for the exhibition . Members free, two nonmember guests per Member allowed. $15 per nonmember.
