Winterthur’s museum, garden, and library collections form the basis for our school, community, and college programs, which strive to engage students through a variety of interdisciplinary, hands-on activities. Role-playing, working with objects, and touring rooms in the museum provide experiences that are educational and fun. Our superb guiding staff and our commitment to teaching students in small groups make every program special. We hope you will join us!
These programs are made possible, in part, by the F.M. Kirby Foundation; Bank of America Foundation; The Max & Victoria Dreyfus Foundation, Inc.; and the Dow Chemical Company Foundation; a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on www.DelawareScene.com. In celebration of 50 years of school programming at Winterthur, additional support for school scholarship funding was given in 2010 by the Carol Ammon Foundation.
