DESCRIPTION:Come learn about the fascinating research taking place at Winterthur and speak with graduate students\, faculty\, staff\, and visiting researchers about their projects at this annual event. They will be located throughout the Louise du Pont Crowninshield Building\, so you will also see the labs and other spaces not usually available to the public. \nWinterthur is home to two master’s programs—the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation and the Winterthur Program in American Material Culture—jointly sponsored with the University of Delaware\, as well as a robust research fellowship program\, a world-class research library\, and ten conservation and analytical labs. \nFree\, although you do need to register. \nRegister now.

DESCRIPTION:A rare\, behind-the-scenes glimpse into hidden museum spaces and protected places\, followed by a sparkling toast overlooking the Reflecting Pool can be paired with our Field & Fête anniversary celebration for a spectacular\, unique experience at Winterthur. Includes hidden doors and access points\, the former servants’ spaces\, collections study and storage areas for glass\, ceramics\, curtains\, and needlework\, plus the rooms where flower are brought in\, prepared\, and arranged before being displayed in the house. $110; $100 for Members.
