DESCRIPTION:New Acquisition Condition: Chinese Lacquered Nesting Tables \nWinterthur recently accessioned an exquisite set of early 19th-century Chinese lacquered nesting tables\, which required conservation and further study for safe display. This talk will discuss the technical analysis\, conducted in collaboration with scientists in Winterthur’s Scientific Research and Analysis Laboratory\, and conservation treatment of one of the nesting tables from the set.
