SUMMARY:Wine through Winterthur: Sip Among the Blooms
DESCRIPTION:Explore cheerful masses of Narcissus throughout the garden as you sample wine varietals perfect for spring\, courtesy of Moët Hennessy. As you sip and stroll\, enjoy live music and local plein-air artists. \nDaffodils are one of the few plants Henry Francis du Pont would write about and one in which he maintained a lifelong interest. Winterthur is one of the few places in the country where you can see so many daffodils. Many that blossom here are historic cultivars from the late 1800s and early 1900s. \n$55; $50 for Members. Includes tasting of four wines\, Winterthur stemless wineglass\, live music\, and general admission. $30 for designated driver (includes one nonalcoholic beverage). This is an outdoor walking event\, with tasting stations located throughout the garden. Please be sure to dress for the weather and for walking on uneven terrain. Rain date: April 21. \nRegister now.
