DESCRIPTION:Exclusively for Members! Discover the beauty of the spring garden on a walking tour led by Collin Hadsell\, horticulturist. See what’s in bloom and explore unseen or off-the-beaten-path areas of the garden. Members free. Reservations required; limited to 50 participants. Wear walking shoes and bring water\, sunscreen\, and bug spray. Portions of the walk may be over dirt\, grass\, and paved paths and may include uneven ground and steps. Walks leave promptly from the Visitor Center. Please check in at the admission desk 10 minutes before scheduled walk time. In case of inclement weather\, a decision will be made the day prior. Observe resident birds as well as migrating raptors\, warblers\, and sparrows. For beginning or experienced bird watchers. Bring your binoculars. Be sure to dress for the weather and wear walking shoes. Park in the Visitor Parking Lot and meet at the Picnic House (the small building at the far end of the lot). Walks start promptly at scheduled time. DESCRIPTION:Please note: due to forecasted weather\, this event will take place on May 10\, 5:00–8:00 pm. \nJoin us as we bring Kentucky Derby style to Delaware. Enjoy a bourbon and whiskey tasting\, live bluegrass by the Dill Pickle Old Time Orchestra\, and access to the garden. \n$65. Includes four tastings of bourbon and/or whiskey\, a Crown blackberry and lemonade cocktail\, Winterthur rocks glass\, a Southern-inspired snack box\, live music and access to the garden. $35 for designated driver and student (includes one non-alcoholic beverage\, snack box\, live music and access to the garden).
