DESCRIPTION:Enjoy an hour-long journey through American music spanning the past century\, performed by violinist Eliot Heaton of the Philadelphia Orchestra and pianist Thomas Weaver\, associate chair of musical studies at the Curtis Institute of Music. From Aaron Copland to today’s local composers\, this recital celebrates the rich and evolving musical landscape of our nation in honor of America’s 250th anniversary and is hosted by composer Tommy Dougherty. Performance only: $35–$37; $30–$32 for Members; $20 for children 12 and under.
