DESCRIPTION:Step into a sparkling celebration as exceptional wines\, seasonal pairings\, and culture come together in honor of America’s 250th and Winterthur’s 75th anniversaries. Stroll the estate’s picturesque grounds and savor thoughtfully selected sparkling wines courtesy of Chandon\, paired with bites inspired by more than two centuries of culinary tradition—each sip and taste reflecting innovation\, craftsmanship\, and heritage. \nAs you sip\, enjoy sonnets and soliloquies performed by actors from Delaware Shakespeare\, and visit Barb’s Flower Bar to create a fresh\, custom bouquet (fee charged; while supplies last). \n$78. Includes sparkling wine and food pairings\, a stemless Winterthur flute glass\, and live music. Tickets also include General Admission until 5:00 pm\, so arrive early to explore the garden or take a self-guided tour of the house and visit the Museum Store. This is an outdoor tasting\, so please be sure to dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes for walking on uneven terrain.
