The John and Carolyn Grossman Collection
The John and Carolyn Grossman Collection contains approximately 250,000 pieces of printed ephemera. The brilliantly-colored fan, pictured to the right, is just one object in this world class collection that visually documents America’s—and to some extent Europe’s—past from 1820 to 1920. Like John and Carolyn Grossman, we know that sharing this collection with the public and keeping it readily available to scholars is of primary importance. Our goal is to raise the funds necessary to keep the collection here permanently; there is no better place to ensure that this collection has a powerful and lasting legacy.
