This exhibit is the first to focus solely on the work of Thomas Fletcher and Sidney Gardiner and their influence on the silversmith trade. Fletcher & Gardiner were the premier silversmiths of their time, renowned for their dramatic presentation pieces for civic and military heroes as well as stylish household silver and jewelry. The exhibition will include a selection of swords, medals, commemorative works, tea sets, pitchers, dinner services, a candelabrum, vases, and flatware in silver and gold.
