Renowned for their dramatic presentation pieces for civic and military heroes as well as stylish household silver and jewelry, Fletcher & Gardiner created an impressive array of stunning silver works, including swords, medals, commemorative works, tea sets, pitchers, dinner services, a candelabrum, vases, and flatware in silver and gold. This exhibition premiered at The Metropolitan Museum of Art where more than 185,000 visitors marvelled at the bold and brilliant designs that elevated the American silversmith trade to new heights.
