Join us for a lecture on the history of coffee in America by Michelle McDonald (Assistant Professor of History, Stockton College, New Jersey). Afterwards, enjoy a coffee tasting with three area roasters: Crescent Moon Coffee Roasters, Pike Creek Coffee Roasterie, and Brew Ha Ha. Make sure to visit our newest exhibition, Feeding Desire: Design and Tools of the Table, 1500-2005. Guided tours of the exhibit will be available at 3:00, 4:30, and 5:00pm.

'Tis the Season Tuesday Demonstrations

Dec. 2: Splendid Dried Flowers: Creating Holiday Decorations, Meredith Graves, Head Flower Arranger, Winterthur
Learn about the process of drying flowers and the steps and materials involved. Watch as Meredith demonstrates the various ways dried flowers can be used during the holiday season, from a kissing ball to a dried flower tree and wreath.
Dec. 9: Festive Elegance: Bringing the Holidays Home, Jill Slatter, Replacements, Ltd.
Learn how to set an elegant holiday table using discontinued china, crystal and flatware. Replacements, Ltd. is the largest company in the world supplying customers throughout the world with “hard to find” items.
