Tuesdays in July and August
10:00 am–3:00 pm
Terrific Tuesdays will explore materials used to create objects in the museum and the garden this summer. In July, kids will explore different materials, including: ceramic, paper, wood, and textiles. Each week will focus on a different medium with crafts and activities, a guest conservator, and a local craftsman.
In August, Terrific Tuesdays shifts to the garden where we will explore different areas of the garden, including the Reflecting Pool, Sundial Garden, Brown's Meadow, Quarry Garden, and Pinetum. In the event of inclement weather, crafts will be made indoors in the Brown Horticulture Learning Center.
Members free! Discounted admission for nonmembers: $5 per child with one free adult.
Your attendance at this event allows Winterthur to use your photograph for promotional purposes without compensation.
